Specifications

This device is designed for compatibility with both flatbed (ADF and Platen) and CIS color scanners, boasting a scan resolution of 1200×2400 dpi. It offers a simplex scan speed of 7.1 ipm and a line scanning speed of 3.5 ms/line (300 dpi) for color and 1.5 ms/line (300 dpi) for greyscale. The Platen can accommodate a maximum size of A4 and letter (216x297mm), while the ADF supports A4, Letter, and Legal (216 x 356). It also supports various paper types including plain paper, red label superior 80g/m, and Canon Oce Office color paper 80g/m.

This printer is highly versatile, as it is compatible with a range of paper types, including High-resolution paper, envelopes, photo paper plus semi-gloss, re-stickable photo paper, and magnetic photo paper. However, it’s worth noting that the maximum paper input for the Rear Tray is 100 sheets of plain paper, while the Cassette can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper.

It’s also important to consider the different paper sizes and weights that the trays and plates can support. For example, the Rear Tray is able to handle plain paper with a weight between 64g/m to 105g/m, or genuine Canon papers. Additionally, the Rear Flat Tray is able to hold a single sheet, while the ADF can handle A4, 35 LTR, and 5 LGL paper sizes.

By understanding the specific capabilities of this printer, you can ensure that you are using the right paper type and size to achieve the best possible results.

Also, Rear Tray can hold a canon plain of maximum weight of up to 265g/m (photo plain plus glossy II). At the same time, the Cassette can support plan paper of 64g/m to 105g/m weight, and Rear Flat Tray can hold a paperboard of 0.1mm to 0.7mm. Moreover, the machine’s copy functions include document copying, two-sided copy, 2-on-1, and 4-on-1 copy. Also, it supports collated copy for ADF only, frame erase copy for flatbed only, and ID copy.
