HP Photosmart C4390 specifications

Within the span of a single lunar cycle, the printer has the capability to produce a maximum of 5000 pages. However, the manufacturer’s advised production rate is a more conservative 500 pages per month on average. The swiftness with which this device prints is heavily influenced by the intricacy of the document being printed and the printing mode that has been selected. When printing in black ink, the fast draft setting can achieve speeds of up to 32 pages per minute, while the fast-normal mode prints at a rate of 11 pages per minute.

According to our testing, the standard and optimal printing methods operate at a rate of 8.2 and 2.1 pages per minute (ppm) correspondingly. However, when printing color pages, the speed decreases. On the other hand, the fast draft mode enhances print speed up to 24 ppm.

Moreover, the fast-normal mode produces prints at a rate of 7.2 ppm after the initial page. Additionally, the standard and optimal printing modes run at a rate of 5.4 and 2.1 ppm respectively, which is slightly slower than the fast-normal mode.

It’s worth noting that the abbreviation ppm stands for pages per minute, which is a measurement of the printer’s printing speed. By using this terminology, we can more accurately describe the printer’s capabilities and help customers make informed decisions.

To utilize this device, a digital image processing component is necessary, allowing for up to 99 copies to be made from the original document. The digital zoom range can vary between 25% to 400%, depending on the specific printer model. The copying speed is determined by the mode selected, with the fastest method achieving 32 ppm for black and 24 ppm for color. This printer is capable of supporting a variety of paper types, including photo paper, plain paper, transparent films, index cards, envelopes, and labels in both standard and custom sizes.
